DIY: trendy shorts!

Summer is kicking in! the best part about it is getting to wear dresses,skirts, and of course shorts! I was looking through my closet and found an old pair of jeans that I really don't wear anymore, and I have been seeing alot of DIY short tutorials and YouTube, so why not try it out?
I transformed my ugly worn out jeans and made them into really cute trendy shorts! I was super excited to try it out and I had soooo much fun doing it :)

I started out by measuring the length i wanted the shorts and marking them so i knew exactly where to cut

I cut along the line carefully!

 After I cut both sides I brought out some bleach, In order not to waste too much i poured bleach in an empty spray bottle, and measured about 3-4 ounces of bleach

(remember to use gloves!!!)

I sprayed the shorts all over for about 10-15 min, then you want to rinse them in water for about 20 min. set them out to dry :)

  

My old jeans went from blah, to Voila! :D I was super excited, ( I know it's nothing big, but it was the first time i tried it out.) Check out my whole outfit featuring these shorts, Something old, Something new
