Eye Tutorial: Summer Smokey eyes

Oh the summer days and of course the summer nights! I always wear less makeup during the summer, just because it gets very hot during the day, but the cool summer nights let me amp up my makeup just a tad. Smokey eyes aren't really "comfortable" I would say using blacks and grays just doesn't feel right, but what to do when your heading out at night? Well i like using browns and just recently, i started using beige-y shadows to soften up a smokey eye! So here is my little step-by-step summer smokey how-to :) (*Pic heavy)

    1. I started with a clean canvas                                  2. Apply primer/base (NYX JEP in Milk)

    3. Apply a light beige shadow over the lid
4.Apply a light brown shadow in the inner corner crease blending out towards the outer corner crease.

5.Apply a darker brown in the outer corner crease
6.Then add the darkest brown in the outer corners and blend! (add a little black for more intensity)

7.Line your top lash line with black liquid/pencil liner
8.Apply false lashes (Optional) I'm using #20 in Red Cherry
9.Line your waterline with white liner to make eyes brighter & bigger (NYX JEP in Milk)
10.Line the outer corners with black liner and add mascara to top and bottom lashes

Voila!

On my face:
No foundation or concealer
Milani bronzer in Sunset Spice
Cover Girl Lipstick in Temptress

This was my first blog makeup tutorial! :) should i do more like this? Hope you all enjoyed!

Jasmine
