Princess Belle Inspired makeup!

Hey everyone! A few days ago i posted a Princess Jasmine Inspired Makeup look , and today i wanted to continue with this little series by showing you this look i came up with inspired by Princess Belle from Beauty & The Beast! I based this look from her gorgeous yellow ball gown she wears and her hair color! I used my BH Cosmetics Take Me To Brazil palette (check out swatches here) I used two yellows from the palette, i used a tiny bit of black in the crease just to create a softer smokey effect, and some bronzey shadow from the same palette! This look is really easy to create and can be used for a cute halloween look if you plan to be belle!

Jasmine

Princess Jasmine Inspired Makeup!

Hello beauties! I know it has been a while since ive updated my makeup looks on here so i wanted to share with you this look from yesterday! I was inspired by Princess Jasmine from Aladdin (yes i was also named after this princess lol) besides being named after her, i really love the colors she wears in the movie! So i used my Take me to Brazil eyeshadow palette to create this really fun, easy look! If you haven't seen the swatches you can check them out here :) I used the bronze-y shadow in my crease and above to blend, a bright teal on the lid, and a tiny bit of black on the outer corners! this is definitely a fun look to try out and can even be used as part of a halloween costume if you don't want to go extreme with the makeup!

Take me to brazil BH Cosmetics SWATCHES!

Hey lovelies! Here is the BH Cosmetics 'Take me to Brazil' 30  eyeshadow palette, including swatches! the colors range from pinks, reds, yellows, and oranges, to cooler tones like blues, greens, and purples.

this is the first two rows from left to right (pinks, reds, and oranges)
These are very pigmented, im using nyx jep in milk for an extra pop of color, most of the colors are matte but there are several shimmer shadows. the bottom row of shadows are very shimmery/frosty which i LOVE!

the 3rd and 4th row (left to right) are yellows and greens! Im not a very big fan of any yellow eyeshadows mostly because they always come out chalky. As you can see the 3rd row of yellows are pretty much the same with the exception of the bottom eye shadow (to the right) which is very shimmery! The next picture is the green shadows which are my FAVE from the whole palette! These are truly what they look like in the palette and they're so pigmented!

The 5th and 6th row are greens, & blues!
Im really loving the 5th row as well as the last green row. These shadows look beautiful, the camera and lighting don't do them justice! these colors remind me of a mermaid! Then the 6th row contains blues, pretty & pigmented as well!

The last row of shadows are purples, very pigmented as well and can see these being used more often in the future ! :)

Sooooo, all in all i give this palette a 8/10! A! the reason why i didn't give an A+ is because i didn't really like the yellow shadows and the pinks and reds. My favorite shadows are the whole bottom row of shimmer/frosty shadows that are amazing! hope you enjoyed my review and swatches, feel free to check out the swatches on youtube as well!

Check out some of the looks i have done with this palette!

EOTD: Subtle brown smokey

Hey Gals! Here is one of the easiest, and affordable eye looks for any occasion, whether a night out or going to a wedding, this is a subtle smokey eye using browns! I think brown smokey eyes are by far the easiest smokey eye to learn if you ask me! Anyway this smokey eye cost me about five dollars believe it or not. I used my Elf beauty book, in Bronzed. its quite easy to use and the colors are pretty great as well for the price! The beauty book comes with 6 different eye shadows (all shimmer) a primer and a liner. the 6 shadows range from a dark chocolate brown to highlighter yellow & pink which is perfect to create this whole look! I used the darkest brown on my lid, then the 2nd darkest on my crease, followed by a light brown to blend, and last i used the light baby pink shimmer on my brown bone and in the tear ducts for a more eye opening look :)

MOTD: Summer Look

Hola my loves! Im super excited to share this fun summer look with you! Like i said in my previous post, I will be doing lots of makeup looks with my new favorite palette Take me to Brazil by BH cosmetics! As i mentioned before, the colors in this palette are bright & bold so a little goes a long way. I applied my NYX JEP in milk as a base for my eye shadow, then i added a bright yellow to my lids, and a shimmery bronze in my crease & corners. On the lips im using Bare Escentuals Marvelous Moxie Lip liner in "Amped". This has to be one of my favorite looks because its so appropriate for the weather here in SoCal!

EOTD: Take me to Brazil Green

hey my loves! I wanted to show you guys some of the colors from the Take me to Brazil palette from BH cosmetics! These colors are so bright and pigmented, i love them! I decided to use a lime green color on the center of my lid and a darker green on the inner & outer corners of my eyes. I then added a bronze-y brown color to the crease and above to give more depth and blended look. So far im enjoying this palette since it offers fun, bright, bold, colors that you can play up or down! Expect more looks from this palette :)

BeautyCon LA 2013

Hey my loves! I wanted to share with you guys my little trip to BeautyCon! I attended on Saturday August 24, and the event was free! The event started at 10:00 am, the website said to show up early but unfortunately the LA traffic was real lol! My friends & I got there around 10:30 and by the time we found parking it was almost 11! You would not believe how LONG the line was for BeautyCon! The line was literally a whole block long! I had never heard of BeautyCon until this year so i figured it wasn't as popular as other events like IMATS & Hair shows etc. but i was WRONG lol. So we got in line to wait, and wait, AND WAIT. We stood in the scorching California sun for FIVE AND A HALF HOURS. Yup. believe it! By the time we actually got inside the event it was around 4:00pm. I met alot of fellow Youtubers/bloggers and so many other girls! While in line i made friends with some pretty amazing girls, they were so nice and friendly and we each took turns saving each others spot in line while we would go buy water to stay hydrated in that 90 degree weather! We were barely halfway in line when we heard that Nicole Guerriero was going to come outside to talk to us & take pics so at this point we were about to cry if we saw her because we were so exhausted & sunburned lol!

It had been like half an hour since we had heard that she was going to come outside, so we thought she wasn't going to anymore :( We were standing there talking when she walked by us and all the girls started screaming and we did too of course lol! She was so beautiful and was really nice, she took pictures with us and said hi to everyone!

It was great to meet Nicole she is amazing! The highlight of my day though was meeting Carlibel55! I ran to her and was shaking because i was that nervous of meeting her! Let me tell you she is PERFECTION! She is like a doll and such a sweetheart! That made the whole 5 hours melting in the sun worth it! <3 <3
I also met her boyfriend Brett as well! They make such a beautiful couple and they are both just two of the sweetest people you will ever meet!
I can go on & on about Carli & Brett but i shall move on, lol. When we finally got inside the event i was tired, my makeup looked horrible, and i felt really dizzy. I tried to make the best of the time in there but to be honest it wasn't what i expected. Everything seemed unorganized & of course by the time we had gone inside everything was almost gone, we got left overs you can say. I was slightly disappointed, but i bought my beautycon bag that came with some goodies and i also went to the BH cosmetics booth to buy the Take me to Brazil palette which i LOVE & a duo blush palette in Tulip.

I did get to meet Carli again and we even had the chance of a mini photoshoot with her! <3 Overall, i enjoyed meeting some of my favorite Youtubers like Andreaschoice, Nicole, & i did see Kandee Johnson as well as Christina Milian! Will I go back to BeautyCon next year? hmm well im not sure if i would..If the tickets are being sold then yes because i know i won't have to wait so long! If i do go again ill make sure to camp out over night lol!

xoxo,
Jasmine
